Baskerville Type Specimen
This project tasked me with writing and designing a type specimen book for a font of my choosing. As an avid fan of Baskerville, I decided to do a deep dive into its history and usage. After researching the typeface, I analyzed its type anatomy and what sets it apart from other fonts of the type.
While Baskerville has a very serious tone and feel, I wanted this type specimen to break away from that. I brought new life to the typeface by using bolder and brighter colors to convey its history.
