Steinbeck Book Covers
For this project, I was tasked with choosing a series of four book the redesign the covers of. The redesign should link the four books together in some way, and make it obvious that they belong to the same author. I chose four books from John Steinbeck: Of Mice and Men, The Grapes of Wrath, Cannery Row, and East of Eden.
Since the four books all held a general theme of religious and biblical roots, I wanted to emulate the design of a traditional-looking Bible. This led me primarly to a brown, leather cover, and using a gold accent to give the books a more elevated and elegant feel.
